BRENT & JUDY KLOPFENSTEIN

Brent and Judy Klopfenstein became the artistic directors and owners of the Dallas Ballet Center in 1988. Prior to that, they both had professional performing careers with extensive training in New York City. Under their leadership, the Dallas Ballet Center has become a well established facility known for excellent dance training and professional quality productions.

The studio is not only known for the full-length ballet productions with professional quality sets, choreography, and costumes; but also for other dance disciplines including jazz, lyrical, tap, modern, musical theater, and hip hop. Students from Dallas Ballet Center have been accepted, many with scholarship offers, to summer workshops including School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Houston Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Ballet Austin, to name a few.

Many dancers who have trained under Brent & Judy Klopfenstein have pursued dance as a profession and have performed with companies such as New York City Ballet, Fort Worth Dallas Ballet, Houston Ballet, Ballet Arlington, and Richmond Ballet. Brent and Judy have three daughters, all who enjoyed training at the Dallas Ballet Center.
