Whitney Buehrle

Whitney Buehrle is a native of Dallas, and grew up at the Dallas Ballet Center where she studied tap, ballet, and modern. She was a charter member of the DBC Tap Connection, performing at one of the first National Tap Dance day events in Dallas, Dance for the Planet, and Market in the Meadow. She also performed in numerous DBC ballet productions including Nutcracker, Coppelia, Don Quixote, and Raymonda.

Whitney continued her study of dance at the University of Oklahoma while obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. While at OU, she co-choreographed several pieces for the Senior Tap Company at a local dance studio for various competitions. Upon graduation, Whitney returned to Dallas and has been teaching ballet and tap at DBC to all ages since 2006. Currently, she has a Masters degree in Environmental Science, and resides in Lake Highlands with her new husband.
