Libby Ferguson returned to teach classes for children at the Dallas Ballet Center in 2013. To balance her family life she entered into the realm of choreography and performance during the interim years. Libby has been privileged to study under the direction of Cecilia Kelley of the former Sadler’s Wells Ballet in England. Locally she trained under Robert Scevers, Nancy Schaffenburg-Cross and Nathalie Krassovska.
She has performed both classical and neo-modern works in ballet. Among the roles performed were Nutcracker Grande Pas, White Swan Pas, Dying Swan, Dragonfly, portions of Les Sylphides and the duck in Peter and the Wolf.
Libby has been certified in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) for the last five years and actively pursues yearly on-going education in alignment, kinesiology, lengthening and core strength; she offers PBT classes for both students and adults at DBC.
