Anna Vasquez

Anna Vazquez is a professional dancer, instructor, and choreographer currently performing with Dallas Black Dance Theatre under Artistic Director Richard Freeman. She has worked with acclaimed choreographers including Zach Law Ingram, Allyne Gartrell, Kareem Goodwin, Nycole Ray, and Katricia Eaglin.


Anna specializes in ballet, pointe, contemporary, Horton technique, and choreography for both stage and competition. She has taught across leading studios in Texas, creating award-winning pieces for competitions such as YAGP, UBC, and NYCDA. Her dance training includes the Texas Ballet Theater Professional Division, Zion Dance Project, and many formative years with the Ballet Conservatory of South Texas, where she also began her teaching journey.


Teaching is at the heart of Anna's work. She believes strong pedagogy is the foundation of every class and strives to create a safe, inclusive space where dancers can grow without fear of judgment. Her goal is to build technically strong, artistically confident dancers through encouragement, discipline, and a deep respect for the art form.


Known for her versatility and commitment to dancer development, Anna brings both passion and professionalism to every studio and stage she enters.
