Shannon Balster

Shannon was born in Santa Barbara California and began dancing at the age of 6 while living in San Francisco.  She went on to train with American Festival Ballet under the direction of Marius Zirra. Shannon earned her BFA at Arizona State University in choreography and performance, with an emphasis in Ballet and Modern dance. She has performed with ballet and modern companies, and commercial productions, both local and abroad. While living in Munich she performed in the musical production “La Cage”.  Upon moving to Texas Shannon has continued to perform and teach in the Dallas area, including ballet, tumbling, adult fitness, and jazz.  She is very excited to join the DBC family.
